Mausoleum At Halicarnassus

This is actually a tomb built around 353-350 BC which was about 148 feet tall. The structure was designed by Greek architects Satyros and Pythius of Priene. This marvel is located today in Bodrum, Turkey. The tomb was destroyed between 12th century and 1402. This tomb was built for Mausolus. Mausolus extended his empire to most of Asia Minor. His wife Artemisia built the Mausoleum as a tribute for her husband. She died 2 years after his death. There has been many models that differ since it has been destroyed.
